The RMU is used in three-phase AC power systems with AC 50/60Hz and rated voltage up to 40.5kV, suitable for switching loads of different properties and places with frequent operation.

It can quickly and reliably eliminate transient and permanent faults in the main or branch lines before the outgoing switch in the substation acts, and quickly reclose and restore power supply after the fault is eliminated.

It can be installed in ring network lines, radioactive lines, branch lines, and user terminal lines.
